In addition to practicing and teaching Dao Yin, I made numerous trips to China to study with martial arts masters and advanced Chinese medicine practitioners in order to bring these practices together into a single unified course. What is Dao Yin and why should I learn it?

Dao Yin exercises are some of China’s oldest health exercises. As part of the Daoist Life Nourishing Longevity tradition, Dao Yin exercises have been practiced for two millennia by Daoist sages, Qi Gong masters and martial arts experts. Dao Yin exercises have clearly stood the test of time and are as relevant and effective now as they were 2000 years ago.

Dao Yin exercises are simple and easy to do, and have profound effects of the body’s energy system, making them ideal for preserving health, harmonizing the Qi dynamic, and preventing disease. It is no surprise that Doctors of traditional Chinese medicine often prescribe Dao Yin to their patients in order to balance the body and prevent disease. I have practiced Dao Yin daily for over 30 years and taught Dao Yin to hundreds of acupuncture patients. My experience is that daily practice of Dao Yin revitalizes the body and keeps one healthy, disease free, energized and mentally focused.
