About the Instructors:

Kathy Taromina learned Zang Fu Tui Na (ZFTN) through apprenticeship training with Tom Bisio and is an Instructor of ZFTN with Internal Arts International (IAI). For the past 10 years, she has incorporated ZFTN into her clinical practice as a stand-alone treatment method, as well as utilizing it in conjunction with acupuncture, traditional tui na, and Chinese herbal medicine. She is a dedicated student of Xing Yi Quan and a Foundational Instructor in Ba Gua Zhang with IAI. Kathy is the Co-President and a faculty member at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine.

Kelly McDonald has practiced Chinese medicine in New York City since 2000. She assisted Tom Bisio in his clinic for five years and counts that formative experience as a major influence in her practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Traditional Tui Na and Zang Fu Tui Na. She considers her training with Tom and with Valerie Ghent in Ba Gua Zhang and Xing Yi Quan to be key in developing energetic sensitivity and the ability to usefully engage with patients. Kelly is a Senior Instructor of Ba Gua Zhang with IAI and holds regular Ba Gua classes in New York City.
