Intensive Ba Gua Zhang Training in Tuscany, Italy July – 14-21, 2024
A rare opportunity to learn the 64 Forms of Ba Gua Zhang and the Ba Gua Rotating Ring Sword Form in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany, Italy. We are delighted to return to Agriturismo Terenzana for a week of intensive training. At last year’s retreat, students were amazed by the beauty of the area, the quality of the training, the amazing meals (included in the cost of the retreat) and the incredible hospitality of our hosts, Daniela and Ivan.
The IAI Ba Gua Zhang 2024 Ba Gua Training Intensive in Tuscany will focus on intermediate-advanced level Ba Gua Zhang. This intensive 7-day seminar is open to intermediate and advanced students who have practiced the Old Eight Palms (Lao Ba Zhang) and some of the basic linear movements of Ba Gua.
The week of intensive training will focus on Ba Gua Zhang’s famous 64 Forms – which explore direct applications of Ba Gua’s circular spiraling actions and the Ba Gua Jian (Straight Sword), including both basic sword work and exploration of the comprehensive Ba Gua Ring Rotating Sword Form.
This retreat will definitely take your Ba Gua practice to a new level!
IAI Founder Tom Bisio and IAI senior instructor Valerie Ghent will personally oversee every aspect of training.

The farm produces olive oil and has hundreds of olive trees.
The grounds are quiet with amazing views, olive trees and quiet places to train under old oak trees. There is a large swimming pool and meals will be served in the restaurant/bar on the premises.
